Rural Accommodation in Jarandilla

Rest like a king, surrounded by nature, and a step away from the main points of interest of Jarandilla de la Vera, a town of tranquility and peace.

Our students stay in a beautiful town house that preserves the original stone and wooden beams of the traditional architecture of the Vera area.

It is located in the Historic Center of Jarandilla de la Vera (Cáceres), a quiet and privileged area, a few minutes walk from the Castle of the Counts of Oropesa (current Parador), a Templar hermitage and at the same time, surrounded by gourmet restaurants where you can eat typical food of the area with excellent local wines.

The house is surrounded by a natural environment of sublime beauty, with mountainous landscapes and lush forests of oaks, chestnuts, holm oaks, thickets of thyme, heather and rockrose that provide a fresh and characteristic aroma.

Embracing this charming place, there are several natural pools of crystal clear waters of the Sierra de Gredos where you can bathe in the hottest months and that can be admired by hiking at any time of the year. These natural pools together with the Roman and medieval bridges are very characteristic elements of the landscape of Extremadura.

And, let’s not forget the number of fruit trees that adorn the orchards of Jarandilla such as cherry trees, apple trees, pear trees, fig trees, among others.
