Welcome to Aloha Vera

Your language retreat for adults in Spain

Aloha Vera is a Spanish learning center located in Jarandilla de la Vera, in the region of Extremadura. It is a project born out of love and admiration for Spain, its culture, and language in rural areas.

We want to build bridges between Extremadura and the world, to create an international community for the study of Spanish.

The classes are aimed at adults who wish to experience areal linguistic immersion in a unique natural setting in Europe: the Sierra de Gredos.

Nestled in the heart of the old town, Jarandilla de la Vera, our rustic house offers Spanish classes, accommodations, and rural activities, including hiking, gastronomy, culture, and wellness.

It is a place of captivating beauty, rich in arts and culture, featuring landmarks such as the Castle of the Counts of Oropesa and the Monastery of Yuste, where Emperor Charles V died. Numerous enchanting walks from the gite lead to waterfalls, valleys, mountains, and rivers, showcasing the diverse natural wonders of the region.

We understand that our students want an intensive and motivating language course. What better way to create a positive learning environment than through rural activities that take you beyond the classroom, intensifying language immersion?

Wine tastings, language hiking, yoga, traditional festivals and guided tours!! We've created a place here at Aloha Vera where you can have all of this and more.

Practice the language outside the classroom in a unique and natural environment, embracing an innovative approach to linguistic ecotourism.
