The Emperor Charles V died in 1558 in Yuste Monastery, Extremadura, Spain. Experience an exciting visit to the last resting place of the Emperor Charles V. A walk that will start at the old castle of the Counts of Oropesa, which is the current Parador of Jarandilla de la Vera, followed by the Monastery of Yuste, which was declared National Heritage in March 2007. We will guide you with one of our historians from Extremadura on a journey to the Spanish Golden Age.
